The Notre Dame Club of Minnesota is partnering with the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in presenting the Hesburgh Lecture series: Bridging the Divide. University of Notre Dame professor Dr. John Duffy will discuss the civic virtues, especially finding common ground in political discourse. Register for the character series webinars focused on personal development and character. These "small bites" of personal development and character programming are designed to provide participants with a quick and meaningful boost of awareness and intentionality wile filling their personal development and character toolboxes. All webinars will be on Tuesdays 3:30-5:00 pm CDT. Each session is $20. 1.5 continuing education units (C.E.U.s) will be awarded to participants for each session. Join us at the Toner Lounge to write encouraging letters to young patients in hospitals, through Letters of Love. The event will take place from 12:30-1:30pm.

Join us December 6th during Common Hour,  in writing letters of encouragement to children in hospitals throughout Minnesota through Letters of Love. Our table (with supplies) will be directly inside Toner! See you there!

Join us in sorting, packing and distributing food on December 19 at the Saint Mary's University Center. Saint Mary’s has partnered with Sisters’ Camelot, a Minneapolis non-profit organization dedicated to “food justice, waste reduction, sustainable living, community building, and youth education” (sisterscamelot.org). The organization distributes fresh fruits and vegetables at different locations to those in need.  Food will be distributed to anyone that is interested from 2:30 - 3:30 pm. Come and write encouraging letters to young patients in hospitals and bring your lunch! This volunteer opportunity will take place on Tuesday, January 9 from 12:30-1:15pm in Mother Teresa Hall.

Come and join us at the Minneapolis campus on January 19th at 11:30am, to make sandwiches for Agate Housing and Services!

Saint Mary's professor Antar Salim will lead a learning circle that aims to explore the intersection of character and leadership. All Saint Mary's staff and faculty are invited to attend. Lunch will be served. The event will be at Mother Teresa Hall on the Minneapolis campus, on Tuesday January 23, 12:00-1:30pm. Come and volunteer with Sisters' Camelot in distributing fresh groceries to the local community! The next volunteer opportunity will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd from 12:30-4:30pm at the University Center on the Minneapolis campus.
