Professor Kristján Kristjánsson, professor of character education and virtue ethics in the school of education at the University of Birmingham (UK) and deputy director of the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues, will present “Universities as Schools of Friendship.” He has written extensively on themes in general education, moral education, educational psychology, moral philosophy and political philosophy, and his most recent book is on an Aristotelian understanding of friendship.
